contested only by sun-kissed skies,
a tranquility such as a twilit ocean.
An opening to which I have scarcely ventured,
Combined with a light where I have not been,
A star-crossed heaven grasps my attention,
A beauty victorious over all I’ve seen.
I find my sanctuary in those lips,
a peace and presence which fuels my desire,
A softness of which my soul you strip,
That lingering touch which ignites our fire.
That subtle ruby hue claws my addiction,
A fullness found only in an age-old wine,
A longing described only in Shakespearian fiction,
The ultimate honour to call you mine.
